StyroHeat

StyroHeat® has high strength, good insulation and is easily adapted to the floor design with ordinary hand tools.
For floors, StyroHeat® challenges the traditional chipboard, and is gaining ground in the market, as the increasing demand for insulation means that you have to think new.

With StyroHeat®, which has the same properties as BEWI’s G250, both really high compressive strength, low water absorption and both the plate itself is insulating, the U-value of the floor is improved while being soundproof.

● Save working time
● Save material
● More insulation in the construction
● Better comfort in the home

Assembly
Before mounting, make sure that the surface is in level with minimal dirt, as this can have an effect on the finished floor and cause creaking noises.
StyroHeat® is then laid so that the side with turning tracks follows the edge with min. 5-10 mm expansion joint. Then the plates are distributed with the straight grooves so that the grooves align with each other. The plates are eventually adjusted so that the entire floor is covered and the grooves in the grooves form a complete channel for the hoses.
StyroHeat® can be divided in the middle, so they can be easily adapted to the room and thus the hoses can be easily distributed over the entire floor.
Extra adjustment of the plates can be done with ordinary hand tools, and it is recommended to do with filament, as this gives a cleaner cut.

The edge design of the StyroHeat boards is sharp, so the boards can be folded close together.
The grooves are prepared on a 20 mm heating hose, with a center distance of 300 mm.
StyroHeat® is produced in 30 mm and 50 mm.

Heat distribution plates
StyroHeat® is delivered as standard with heat distribution plates in aluminum, which distributes the heat evenly over the entire floor surface. The heat distribution plates measure 280 mm x 1150 mm and thereby cover an area of 0.322 m2 per. plate.
The plates have a thickness of 0.4 mm.
