It is part of BEWI’s fundamental values to contribute to an effective and fair competition in the society. To prevent corruption and other unethical practices, BEWI is committed to meet the highest ethical standards when conducting its business and to work actively with its value chain in such regard.

Anti-corruption

BEWI has zero tolerance for bribery, corruption and fraud. No benefit, payment, cash or otherwise (including facilitation payments), which could be interpreted as a bribe, may ever be paid to or accepted from an individual or organization with the explicit or implicit intention of receiving business advantages or favouritism.

Competition

BEWI performs an active work within its organisation to prevent non-competitive conduct and to ensure compliance with competition laws. This includes for example established policies and guidelines as well as mandatory trainings.

BEWI’s whistleblowing service offers a possibility to anonymously alert BEWI about suspicions of misconduct, such as serious improprieties concerning accounting, internal accounting controls, auditing matters, bribery, banking- and financial crime, human rights or other serious improprieties concerning BEWI’s vital interests or the life or health of individual persons, All are encouraged to report any suspicions of misconduct, either directly to anyone within BEWI’s executive committee or via BEWI’s whistleblowing service.
