Sustainable construction together with Skanska

Skanska uses the term Green construction for more environmentally adapted and future-friendly projects, that go beyond present standards and legal requirements. BEWI delivered BEWI GreenLine, products made of 100% recycled EPS, to Skanska’s construction site Villa Brogården in Alingsås, Sweden.

– We choose BEWI, because they have 100% recycled EPS. They also collect all EPS waste and reuse it in new EPS, says Lars Stigberg, Skanska.

BEWI have closed systems with their customers. That means that BEWI collects all EPS waste from sites and recycle it as raw material for the GreenLine products. They are made of 100% recycled EPS, that is developed for a smaller carbon footprint, with the same first-rate quality as EPS made from virgin sources.
