Invisible things that make everyday life better

That’s what we’re facing now. The reason is that we have to shift towards circularity, and soon. At the same time, the wheels have to keep turning and fresh fish and vegetables have to be available like they have been. Cars need to be safe no matter what drives them and we need new housing and buildings as well as infrastructure, in order for society to work.

Sure, most of us would probably be open to waive some of our quality of life for the challenge our planet is facing. But research shows that if it deteriorates too much, it will be counterproductive to the big change that humanity is facing in order to meet climate change.

Xire is another example, which is a fire retardant EPS used for insulation and enhances fire protection in homes and buildings. Our vision is to protect people and goods for a better everyday, and that’s what’s guiding us in our daily work. Although the lion’s share of what we make isn’t easily seen or noticed, these products and solutions contribute to the standard of life that we’re used to.

Now we direct our innovation muscles to keep improving the quality of people’s everyday life, while lowering the environmental impact of not only our products and their lifecycle, but our entire operation. We’re determined to lead the change towards a circular economy in our industry.

The fewer who notice, the better we will have succeeded.
