BEWI RAW today announces a breakthrough in the EPS market: the launch of Grey EPS produced entirely from recycled raw material. With this innovation, BEWI RAW becomes the first company in the industry to bring a fully recycled Grey grade to market – offering customers performance, compliance, and circularity in one solution.

“This isn’t just another product launch. It’s a milestone for our industry,” says Jonas Siljeskär, Interim CEO of BEWI RAW. “We’re proving that high-performance Grey EPS can be produced from 100% recycled content – and at scale. For our customers, this means stronger sustainability credentials, lower fossil dependence, and a clear competitive advantage.”

A direct response to customer and market needs

The demand for recycled content is rising fast, driven by new regulations, plastic taxes, and circular procurement requirements across Europe. With this launch, BEWI RAW customers can:

Stay ahead of regulation – meet recycled content requirements without compromising performance

Reduce carbon footprint – cut fossil-based content by using certified secondary raw materials

Win in the market – differentiate in tenders and towards end-customers with truly circular products

Innovation in every bead

The new 100% recycled Grey EPS is part of BEWI RAW’s broader portfolio, which includes Suspension Grey, CREPS (mass balance certified EPS), Biofoam, and Circulum. This launch underlines BEWI RAW’s commitment to innovation and circularity, while ensuring customers benefit from the same processing quality, insulation performance, and reliability as conventional Grey EPS.

And with Grey EPS offering superior insulation values compared to white EPS, the combination with 100% recycled content delivers not only environmental benefits – but also tangible performance advantages.

BEWI RAW is ready to scale

This is where innovation and responsibility meet

“This is where innovation and responsibility meet,” says Alan Moss, VP Sales at BEWI RAW. “We know our customers are under pressure to deliver circular solutions – and we’re proud to give them a product that doesn’t just tick the box, but truly sets a new standard.”

With four European factories, 400,000 tonnes of annual capacity, and a team dedicated to technical optimisation and customer support, BEWI RAW is ready to scale this new Grey EPS and make it accessible to converters across Europe.
