The name says it all

Honeycomb is a natural product made from renewable resources – paper, kraftliner or testliner – that enclose a core with the unique honeycomb cell structure that gives the product its name. Core and wrapper are glued together with water-based biodegradable glue.

100% recyclable, 100% biodegradable

The core with continuous hexagonal air-filled cells make Honeycomb lightweight and stronger than cardboard. It’s also 100 per cent recyclable and 100 per cent biodegradable. Honeycomb may be compressed up to 75 per cent, for efficient transportation.

Multiple uses

Can be used in many applications

Honeycomb is used as cushioning and shock-absorption for pumps, valves, furniture, electronics, glass, bottles, and other fragile products that are vulnerable to impact and transport damages. The packaging can enclose the whole product and/or edges can be used as stabilisers to fixate products inside the packaging. Honeycomb also offers optimal corner and edge protection.

Open cells

Honeycomb is also available with open cells, a shock-absorbing packaging solution that is often used as a filler in buffer zones and as levelling in boxes and on pallets. The open cell honeycomb is dimensionally stable without being glued to paper or kraftliner.
