Continuing to build its position as a leading European EPS raw material producer
BEWI RAW has appointed Rick Klop as new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 November 2025. The appointment follows the recent merger of BEWI’s raw material business with Unipol.
With four sites, eight suspension lines, and three extrusion lines, BEWI RAW is among the top three EPS raw material producers in Europe. The company offers a broad product portfolio including grey, recycled, and special grades.
“We are confident that Rick’s leadership and experience will be key in guiding BEWI RAW into the next phase of growth and in reaching the full potential of this newly formed company,” says Marc van der Plas, on behalf of the Supervisory Board of BEWI RAW.
Klop has a strong background in the oil and energy industry, most recently as part of the Executive Board of VARO Energy. He has held several commercial, operational, and financial leadership roles and has solid experience from integration processes and post-merger work. He succeeds Jonas Siljeskär, who has served as interim CEO since June 2025 and will return to his role as COO of BEWI ASA.
“BEWI RAW has a solid foundation and great opportunities ahead. I look forward to working with the team to further develop a high-performing, innovative, and people-focused organisation”, says Rick Klop.
