BEWI expands collaboration with Europe's heat pump sector through industry membership

BEWI joins the European Heat Pump Association (EHPA), a leading industry organisation supporting the development of heating and cooling solutions. The membership supports BEWI’s ambition to strengthen its position in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry and provides opportunities for closer collaboration with customers, and deeper insights from stakeholders in the industry.

As a supplier of technical components of EPS (expanded polystyrene) and EPP (expanded polypropylene) for HVAC solutions, BEWI works closely with heat pump manufacturers. Heat pumps are becoming an increasingly important part of the European heating and cooling market, and EHPA brings together many of the companies shaping its development. Through its membership, BEWI will stay close to market trends and participate in discussions relevant to customers and the wider HVAC value chain.

“The adoption of heat pumps is accelerating, driven by the energy transition and decarbonisation targets for the building sector. This creates opportunities for innovation, as well as higher expectations for performance and resource efficiency. Collaboration and knowledge sharing across the value chain are therefore essential,” says Martin Seidel, Strategic Key Account Manager HVAC Europe at BEWI.

The European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) represents the European heat pump sector and works to promote heat pump technology as a key contributor to Europe’s energy transition. The association brings together manufacturers, suppliers, research organisations and policymakers to support the development of efficient heating and cooling solutions. The association is headquartered in Brussels.
