Less food waste with the right packaging.

EPS is extremely lightweight and recyclable

EPS is light

EPS is 98% air and weighs less than paper, wood and metal packaging. That means lower CO2-emissions and lower transport costs – and optimal insulation.

Too much food waste

1.3 billion tonnes of food is wasted globally every year. That could be reduced by keeping food fresh all the way to the plate.

Reduce CO2-emissions

Food waste causes more CO2-emissions than packaging. Eat your peas and use transport packaging that insulates and protect the food.

The number one priority: keep the product fresh all the way to the customer

It doesn’t matter if the packaging is free from plastics if the product isn’t fresh when it’s time to cook it. Compromising on a product’s durability just to be able to say that you are using “green” packaging is never an option. Not to us anyway.

EPS reduces food waste and is 100% recyclable

We have looked at the pros and cons and see that EPS is more sustainable in the long run. EPS helps to reduce food waste by keeping fish, vegetables and other food fresh longer and can be recycled again and again.

Short term solutions are not circular

We have launched the Use-ReUse initiative to make people aware of that EPS is 100% recyclable and plastics can be sustainable when used right. As we see it, short term solutions are not circular. So we collect and recycle thousands of tonnes of fishboxes and other EPS packaging and turn them in to raw material for new packaging. Again and again.

Right products at the right time

We have the products you need, when you need them.
