EPS can be compressed 50 times its original size. By compressing at the point of collection, environmental and cost savings are realised at all stages by reducing transport and avoiding incineration. If collection can take place via already established logistical networks, we see opportunities to achieve further efficiencies.

Our services

  • Partners collect EPS via already existing routes for other wastes
  • BEWI invests in a compaction plant to be placed at partner’s site.
  • The partner rent and operate the facility
  • BEWI buys compacted material and transports it for processing into new products.

Option 2

  • Partners collect EPS via already existing routes for other wastes
  • BEWI collects the material in one place and less transports are needed.
  • Alternatively, partners transport the material to the BEWI hub directly as part of the route.
